Snow by Solveig Werner | Advent 2018 – Day 15

A white Christmas!

How many have I had of them? Not many.

Last Winter was bitter cold, it snowed, but in February (and that did lead to some complications).

For the last few days it has been mighty cold, how would I love it to snow for Christmas. We are almost there. In ten days from today, it is the 25th of December. The Advent Calendar only has 9 more days left (or did you finish off your chocolate on the first day?).

Here are some photos of snow that I took 9 years ago in Zakopane in Poland.

I didn’t think that I would be the person posting for the calendar today, but like every year it is a bit tough to find participants. Everyone has work/school/projects and often their own blog that all take up a lot of time. Then December is the moment of the year were we prepare Christmas and often have to battle a nasty cold or even the flu. Thus I cannot say how grateful I am for all the contributions that I have so far received and that I am still going to receive. I would also like to thank all of the visitors to the blog (that includes you), some leave comments.

I really hope that the calendar (and those of the years past) still warm your heart and spirit in this cold season of the year.

Thank you for stopping by, and if you are wondering I am still looking for 4-5 contributions (stories, memories, pictures, paintings, music, videos…). If you are tempted, let me know!

  1. I do love your Advent Calendar – always such great posts!! I hope you get some Solveig – and I hope we don’t (because I could NOT imagine Californians driving in snow – EEK!).
