You are loved! Someone or something within this universe loves you. There is someone looking up to you. There is someone willing to help you. Just ask. You are loved! If you don’t show up for work, without a warning, your colleagues might wonder or even worry, where you are. If you go quiet on your blog, your Instagram, there will be people asking themselves … Continue reading Love – L – A to Z Challenge
Well it might be a bit late opportunity coffee now. But as not everyone is in my time zone you might enjoy a late night chat. If we were having a very late chat, I’d tell you that I treated myself to a day off today. Lately I have been working 7 days per week and even though it’s between 1 hour and at the … Continue reading Weekend Coffee Share 20th November 2016
In the early hours of Saturday the 17th of March 2001, my family and I drove to Staten Island in New York to then take the Staten Island Ferry to Manhattan. This is a great way of accessing New York City, especially if you do not want to take your car into the city. Greeted by a beautiful skyline (in this post you can find some beautiful pictures that I took of it in September 2001 a few days before 9/11), we were promised a beautiful day in the city.

The year is coming to its end. Tomorrow at midnight all 365 days of it will be completed. This will be my last post of this year. But please do come here tomorrow as there will be a guest post. Tomorrow my new guest series, about traditions, will start with a contribution about New Year’s by Dr Gulara Vincent.
I started this year with a mission, find out what I want to do with my life, what I want to do in my future. I took notes, looking at what I have done (and why I did those things), what my competences and interests are. I jotted down things such as journalism, publishing as potential fields to look into. It took me time, and one day I took my courage into my hands and took the leap and started this blog. In the post What I want to say I slightly touched upon this journey. There is no best friend, there are only true friends. One of my oldest friendships started almost 23 years ago, so I have known her longer than my sister. I met F. in kindergarten when I was four. I moved to a different region when we started school, but thanks to our moms’ friendship we stayed in touch, later on to a different continent. We … Continue reading F is for Friendship – A to Z Challenge April 2015
