If we were having coffee, then I would probably propose some tea or water, as I do not have any coffee. We would settle down for a bit, maybe go outside to the Parc Monceau so that we don’t hear the washing machine. If the sun is still low, or low again, then we’d observe little one enjoying the sandbox and making new friends. Else we’d have a stroll through the park or sit on a bench. Maybe we would make a new acquaintance or two.
How have you been? What have you blogged about that I should check out? I have not been all that active in the blogosphere lately, ok active on my blog but then not so active when it comes to visiting others.
Blogging wise I have had a productive week. My friends Ula and Gulara had thought it would be a good idea to nominate me for the five photos five stories challenge. I am glad that I accepted, because I had a lot of fun with it. I didn’t do all five days in a row, I could not find time on Wednesday to post something of a decent quality. I ended up posting photos and telling stories various moments in my life, if you haven’t checked them out please do.
If we were having coffee, then I would ask you how your life has been outside of blogging. And then I would tell you about mine. I have had a great week socially speaking. I saw many friends, made new acquaintances and spend a lot of time with family (this explains why I haven’t been over on your blog much…).
If we were having coffee, you would probably note that my hair looks nicer. Well, I got a haircut yesterday, the first one in 3 years… and even though 10cm were taken off, it still is really long. I would also tell you about little one’s visit at the paediatrician. Her doctor always has a hard time measuring her, thus the measurement is always flawed (little one does not like being measured like a fish, and like a fish she wiggles).
Before you leave, I would like to let you know that my blogging friend Evelyne is giving away her books for free at the moment. And I have already started reading one of them, and it’s great, so have a look! And do keep an eye open for a review that shall appear here sooner or later.
Have a great weekend and week to come! Make sure you check out the other coffee sharers over at Part Time Monster, where lovely Diana kindly hosts this weekly weekend chat (which even has its proper hashtag on twitter #weekendcoffeeshare). And if you want to join in with your own coffee post, then don’t forget to join the linky, so that we can all find you.
Thanks for stopping by, Solveig

Wow – 10 cm of hair cut and it’s still long! That’s impressive 🙂

it still is breast length, well before it reached to my belly button.

I do that every so often, just hack off a huge length of hair. It feels so good. My neck starts to get sore when my hair gets too long.

You must have some heavy hair. My hair is rather light and thin (not density wise but hair diameter) and thus I have not felt a weight difference.

I tend to go about 6 months without a haircut, and then I start consistently wearing my hair in a ponytail, and then I get a haircut. It’s become a thing, apparently. I used to be an every-6-weeks girl. Don’t have time for that now. lol
Sounds like you’ve got good things going on. I’ve missed a lot this week, too, but I think I’ve finally gotten myself back on track. 🙂

When I got it cut 3 years ago, I did plan to get it cut again 6 months later, but never came around to it. It did survive pregnancy quite well, and with a baby there was more on my mind than cutting hair, and it is so bloody expensive (I had a gift card for my cut).
I hope that I will be able to engage a bit more in the blog world in the days to come, once I get sidetracked I have a hard time fighting my backlog.

Sounds like you had a fabulous week. I also got my hair done (first time since Jan) so I fall into the ponytail and ignore the grey category as well. I find that I love the blogging thing so much and feel guilty when I am away and not reading other’s posts but the summer takes over and we have so little of it that I don’t want to miss too much. Have a great week and enjoy the tea…. I am not a coffee drinker at all and it runs in our family… soon I am sure to be 4 generations of it.

Oh a non coffee drinker, that is always nice 🙂
I am hopefully going to get back to something more regular, but then I won’t stick to a creativity killing schedule either.
