Weekend Coffee Share – 23 April 2016

Solveig's MugIf we were having coffee then we would be having tea. I am currently drinking some Puh Er, but I can make you a Oolong (either from Taiwan or China) or a white tea, or a black or green one (these three are from China) if you wish. I can completely understand if you aren’t a fan of it’s rather agressive side. If we were having coffee tea, then we’d be snaking on strawberries, apples, prunes and grapes as well as some other fruit. We would be trying to stay quiet as little on is sleeping in the other room and she is very much in need of sleep (I think she is having another growth spurt). If we were having coffee – 16 April 2016

Hello come on in! Would you like to have a nice cup of tea? And what about some fruit? Little one and I went to the market this morning and bought some fruit for the weekend (it won’t last longer than that).

If we were having coffee, then I would ask you how your week has been. Did you do anything exciting? Do you have any thing planned for the weekend, the week to come?

Solveig's MugIf we were having coffee, then I would tell you about my past week. Last Sunday my best friend came to visit. We spend a lot of time talking about my mom, kids, work, our childhood memories and other things. S was so kind and cooked us a Gratin Dauphinois and we had a good salad and steamed leeks, maybe one day I’ll share some recipes… All four of us went for a good walk in the park, little one and I actually went for two on Sunday as it was such a beautiful day. If we were having coffee – 2 April 2016

If we were having coffee, then we would just like last week be eating a lot of fruit. Because well S did go to the market after work today. We would be getting comfortable, sorry I have no nice sofa to recline on.

Solveig's MugIf we were having coffee then I would tell you that I met an old friend this morning, he actually knows me since I was little one’s age, so for quite some years (around 25 years), he is an extra dad, or a self picked godfather (I am not baptised, which gives me the advantage of handpicking my own godparents). We had a nice chat in a café near by, if you want to we could go there for a drink. Once I came back home little one demanded to go to bed with me… Continue reading “If we were having coffee – 2 April 2016”

If we were having coffee – 26 March 2016

If we were having coffee, then you would find me listening to Regina Spekor, so many of her songs have me in awe, but seen recent developments in my life, I really enjoy the song How (I am linking you to the youtube video) just listen to this beautiful lyrics…

Solveig's MugIf we were having coffee, then I would as always have no coffee to propose to you. Would you like a hot chocolate or a tea instead? And help yourself to the fruit you might like, grapes, strawberries, giant pomegranates, oranges, bananas, apples, kiwi, mango, passion fruits or pears? Yes, I guess we are fruit fanatics. I also have some good baguette left over from this morning with Schokonuss (a hazelnut spread from Germany, which is almost 50% hazelnut), a heavenly treat, or with raw butter, both are lovely treats. I also have a lot of cookies and little cakes as my mother in law send us a care parcel from the south of France, her bakery does a lot of tasty things. If you are looking for easter Chocolates, well then you’ll have to wait for tomorrow. Continue reading “If we were having coffee – 26 March 2016”

If we were having coffee – 9 January 2016

Come on in, it is so nice to see you again! I won’t give you a hug or do the bises (kisses) as I am fighting a cold. But that won’t keep me from having you over. Would you like a cup of tea or some grape juice, some water?

If we were having coffee then I would ask you how you have been. I would apologise that I have been slow with replying to comments. Sorry… I just realised that I replied to none of the comments I received on my coffee post last week, I read them all, but as my mother in law was visiting until Tuesday, I did not reply as much as I would have on a normal day.
