Laughter filled the air. Happiness was upon them. Everything was perfect.

“I love you!” she mouthed as she picked up their youngest child.

He got up to join his family by the slide in the park. At that moment, gravity started to evaporate, he was loosing his balance. Gasping for air he, realised that reality was fading away at a worrisome speed, slipping away through his hands like water.


Panting, he sat up in his bed.

He looked around, nothing was how he remembered. And everything was exactly how he remembered.

He was in his little apartment, where he had been miserable, trying to find love, trying to find a job. There was no wife, there were no three kids. There was uncertainty. He had thought that this was a memory long forgotten, but it was his reality. And what he had mistaken for reality was only a dream.
