K is for Kraków
After a quite adventurous and long, longer than planned train ride, (which in itself is already a story), I finally arrived in Kraków. A friend of my great aunt picked me up at the main station, checked me in to the student housing where I was meant to live for the next two weeks and made sure that I had some proper food before going to bed. The bed was far from what you can call comfortable, I really had the feeling that I had arrived in the soviet era…

At the end of January and beginning of February, I spend a rather rainy and windy weekend in Antwerp, Belgium. Due my recent blogging break, I did not write anything special about this weekend trip, the truth be told it was not a very eventful trip, the rain did keep me from exploring most of the city.
With Thursday Doors in mind, a linkup in which I had never participated in, I snapped some pictures of doors which I walked past or through. As the linkup celebrates it’s one year anniversary this week, well I did have to join in, didn’t I?

Some categories have come and gone over time.
Little did I know when I wrote that very first post that I would have regular readers, that I would participate in the A to Z Challenge only a few weeks later, that I would love to share coffees on a regular basis as a non coffee drinker. Nor did I know when I hit publish for that very first post, that I would be the host to a multi-contributor advent calendar, or that I would start a guest post series in which guests are asked to share their traditions (the most recent instalment can be found here).

I have been a bit absent from blogging over the last few days. I was traveling over the weekend, this means that I will be doing some travel posts soon.
Yesterday morning, I opened my letter box and found a marvellous surprise, a small parcel. Without opening it I already knew what was inside and could not stop smiling. Deborah Bryant had send me her book Continue reading “A Book and An Angel – #weeklysmile”
When I started my blog, I was on the lookout for things to capture and share here. One day I came across this:
